Had a procedure done (macslift) on 4 January 2018 by Dr Duminy. Everything was done to make me feel comfortable and at ease (including a pre-op facial) on the day. The procedure was done under conscious sedation. I experienced no pain either during or after. My bandages were taken off on the second day. I experienced no bruising at all but I was quite swollen. This improved to such an extent that I was able to go out to the supermarket on the second day. I usually go to the gym every day and was able to go back after one week and it was absolutely fine.
I am more than satisfied with the result and although I did not have the microfat grafting which Dr Duminy recommended, I will wait another six months when everything has settled completely to see if I think it's necessary. Altogether a great result and totally worth it.

I have known Dr Duminy for at least 14 years - I see him twice a year when he comes to London for botox.
Six days ago, I had a MACS procedure with Dr Duminy and I am posting this review now because I am absolutely amazed at how fantastic I look and it is not even a full week since my operation. I have had absolutely no bruising and the swelling I have had seems minimal and far less than I was expecting. I am in awe of Dr Duminy's skill and gentleness. Every member of his team are the nicest and most caring group of people which is just what one needs when taking the somewhat daunting step of having plastic surgery.
I can highly reccommend him and everyone involved in his practice. I know I am 100% safe in Dr Duminys hands.

I was very nrevous and skeptical about the procedure.Upon entering the clinic i felt a warm and welcome feeling from all staff.This really made me feel more relaxed and the constant assurance from the staff really helped me decide to go ahead.Dr Duminy really treated me as a son every step of the way even till today i can always count on him for any questions i have.I felt like family members were attending to my procedure as i lay in theater as every step was monitored intensely and full attention was given to me till the last step of the procedure.
Im so grateful for having met such blessed people in my life.You guys have really changed my life and have become very dear to myself and my family.
I wish you guys nothing but blessings in the years ahead as you change many lives as you have changed mine.

What not recommend this Dr for gynecomastia surgery, left me with an over resurrection on one side and a under resurrection on the other... for £5000 as a private patient.. this guy is swinging a bat in the dark!

We are disappointed that you have not made use of our free follow-up consultations to show us the causes of your unhappiness so that we could plan to address them. It is our well established practice to perform any required corrective surgery without charging any surgeon's fees. We can further, reassure you that all resected tissue was submitted for examination by a firm of Pathologists and that the resections were found to be adequate and accurate. Differences in the healing process may result in asymmetry, (this is why we follow up on our patients for a full year). We can also assure you that the design and execution of your operation was done in such a way that any rarely required correction would be facilitated. We take issue with the statement that you were charged a global fee of £5000. While this might be considered normal or even low in the U.K. or the USA, the South African exchange rate makes our fees much lower. We typically would require a global fee (surgeon, anaesthetist, theatre, materials and follow-up) which comes to approximately half of the £5000 you have mentioned. We cordially invite you to return and make use of the services we routinely provide. We will, as always, do our best to ensure that the final outcome is a happy one.
